Gualguainis Blog

This is my personal website, I have decided to take a very minimalistically-looking website thanks to LRS Wiki, an interesting "personal wikipedia" of Drummyfish, an advocate for freeware, truly fascinating stuff, I hope one day I could make my own domain and have as much storage for thousands of rambles, not only would that be great for myself, but liberating as while Neocities is differently much better for someone's privacy, as my website wouldn't have any hindering and disastrous JavaScript on it potentially. JavaScript as a coding language deserves to die for it's ability to track people, what should've been even more popular is HTML.

Games

Ultrakill, Doom + Doom II, Quake, Dusk, Post Void, Cruelty Sqaud, Incision, Buckshot Roulette

Let's get a few important things when it comes to looking for a good virtual private network, a good PR and intelligent technology for privacy, the few VPNS Gualguainis supports are: Mullvad, Orbot, Orchid and the up-and-coming Tor VPN

The problems that VPN offers is that your offering your data to a big tech company or some random group of indie devs, now the usual argument that VPN morons use is "if you use a VPN on Tor, if your IP gets leaked it will be the one VPN uses" first of all, your letting some random group know what your doing on Tor, and they could send their data to the government if they are apart of whatever number it is thingy where the datat could be sent if some sussy things start happening

The tech I have

Sony WH-1000XM4

These are my main headphones ever since I got them for Christmas, they have a USB type A-to-C charger, which I haven't used but probably will some day, a headphone jack (thank god), and a airplane flight thingy so I can watch the movies in crisp 360 audio, they are phenomenal and can turn anyone into an audiophile, I've heard sounds I didn't previously hear in the music I enjoy they are truly quite great I'd recommend you to get Sony headphones or some other audiophilic headphones

Steam Deck LCD

A marvelous handheld made by Valve, what Valve has done is nothing more than an absolute benefit to the (GNU/)Linux gaming community and to an extent (which I don't care for) the Mac gaming community with their tool Proton. Valve's Steam Deck is what got me to really get into Linux and thus I moved to Linux Mint. I am one of those people who actually uses the Steam Deck as a Desktop and I plan to watch some pirated movies when I have any ideas what to watch at 9. The Steam Deck is a perfect feeling console. I have nothing but respect for Gabe Newell and the Valve Corporation for bringing Linux into popularity, if it were a couple years maybe I would have had the same respect to Sony during the time they supported Linux from 2002-2009, it's always a beautiful thing when companies support open-source technology, seeing the monetary incentive. Get this device it is the ultimate gaming device. The guy on Trademe had a bunch of accessories like screen protector, back protector, Dbrand skin, and a docking station.

HP Pavillion Plus 14

My main laptop since last year, sure the fan is loud but I don't think it's really that bad, the flaws seemed to poke their head when I moved to Linux but that's probably because it's made to be a Windows 11 device and not a Linux device, but it supports Linux nicely. I probably will not buy, from HP when it comes to laptops, Lenovo is a far better brand in terms of quality
